Blog for Katrina...

Today is blog for Katrina day (the hurricane that hit Louisiana and Mississippi). There are so many hurting... so many in need. I've heard more than once that God loves those who need him most. I hope that the people left in the wake of Katrina can somehow feel that love right now, in the midst of their suffering, and that through the love of others God can reach out and touch their lives in meaningful ways. I cant even begin to fathom what they have gone through. My prayers are being lifted up.

I would like to ask each of you who read this to consider just saying an extra prayer, right now while you read this, for these people. They need it so badly.

If you have the means and availability, there are dozens of ways to help. Red Cross needs blood, and volunteers to help out in the offices. There are also dozens of ways to donate if you have a few dollars to spare.
